what do you mean by growing fast? dont you think that its good news that all the idiots and crackpots such as yvonne ridley have embraced islam while a small group of educated thinking people are leaving religion altogether?

It means more people are seeing the truth of Islam and converting to it. It's a fact that more people especially women converted to Islam after 9/11 and most of those people were from USA and Europe. Islam will become the most popular religion by the end of this century. By the year 2012 1 in every 4 people in Europe will be Muslim. Also since Muslims have lots of children that also has to do partly do with the fast number becoming Muslim since everyone is born Muslim. People who leave Islam were never Muslim to begin with. No true Muslim would leave Islam.

after 9/11 Americans demonized Islam 24/7, which sparked interest where no interest was prior. combined with the fact that other religions love abortion and pretty much promote it as a form of birth control, where as Muslims love children , we don't abort. We put the emphasizes on the 2nd child not the 2nd car or bigger home. This gives us a population boost too, while other religions are aborting and hating babies, we love babies and want more more more. basically the western media has been a very powerful tool in turning people who had no idea what Islam was, into converts! I love it, and hope the western media never stops being a recruiting tool for Muslim converts, good job western media!!! may God reward you with many rewards.

They are growing fast because the birth rate is 3 to 1 in most countries--you will recall the letter of encouragement to the NY hijackers: "Remember the virgins"--yep, in heaven they won't be virgins very long because each time you have sex, you are immediately vitalized to repeat it again. I'm also unclear why "Fast Growing" is a selling point for religion as religion isn't something you choose because everyone has one and you want the most popular...

if ya ask me neither christianity or islam is growing they both are dying out slowly and people learn that both religions are based on lies. the fact of the matter no one is going to worship a god that approves of molestation and raping of women. the idea that its a fast growing religion makes me sick since i know muslims kill there own kind for deconverting in muslim countries and women are killed in honor killings in those countries so no i dont think its growing i think its declining badly
