I'M 21 and I'm 5ft9 and 149 pounds.I want to lose 15 more pounds. I do cardio traning everyday for 30 min. Is that enough or do I need to work out longer? and what is the best way to lose 15 pounds?

Do the following yogic exercises everyday and you will not only easily lose the excess weight but also gain good health & figure & youth which would remain with you all your life time.:
1. Arathamathesendrasan (reduces the folds on the side)
2. bhujangasan ( reduces the fat & creases on the back)
3. halasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
4. dhanurasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
5. sarvangasan ( controls the whole body to perfection)
6. mathsyasan ( increases the chest & reduces the stomach)
7. nauli kriya ( the best for stomach)
8. mayurasan ( very difficult but best for the belly )
9. bhastrika pranayanam ( breathing exercise, very best and must as this controls BP, prevent lung diseases, increases the brain power, will never get cough or cold and controls your anger and other violent emotions, brings in crimson complextion to the face etc,etc)
10. sevasan. ( This is the last exercise and this removes all the stress and strain of all the above exercises )

Do all these exercises every day in the morning before breakfast and after nature calls because both your stomach & intestines should be empty while you do this . Do it regularly for 1 month with confidence and see the magic.

Losing weight quickly is neither healthy nor long term.
Try taking it up to the next level with your exercise routine. 1 hour of cardio per day will make a noticeable difference in comparison to 30 minutes. Be sure that you are drinking plenty of water and getting enough rest.
Also, set reasonable goals for yourself. If you lose weight the proper way, you will keep it off. 1 to 1.5 lbs. a week is the best expectation and continuing with exercise after you have lost the weight is the only way to stay in shape and keep it off.

I'm 26, 5'9 and have been working on losing weight as well. I work out at the gym for 1.5 hours, 5 or 6 days a week. Stick with it and you will see results and be happy with your body! Give yourself time!!!

You need to up you cardio. Do at least 45 minutes...try to do 60 minutes of cardio if you can. You need to do cardio 5-6 days a week. You should see better results this way.
Also reduce your calorie in take. Best way to do this is stop drink calories.

Change your routine. Do cardio for longer distances or longer time, its your choice but change it up. Do strength training. It is a proven fact that if you add some kind of weight/resistance training than you will raise your metabolism and burn more fat. Do sprints. Anything to change your routine, but change it because your body is probably used to a set routine. Good luck.

What you're doing is great so far- try working active things into your day even more, and spread it out throuout your day if you can. Try changing your eating habits to more fruits and vegetables, less red meat and sugas and fats. You're a pretty good wight for your height... don't try to lose too much!
