Recently I told a friend that I really love her. She lives at the other end of the country from me and I only get to see her when she is on holiday. She told me she only thought of me as a good friend, and I accepted this. She also told me she liked another guy. The only thing is I felt really upset and later that evening I had too much to drink and sent her a text I shouldn't have said, "i.e. if you change ur mind u know where to find me, u don't know how much u mean to me". When I had sobered up I sent her a text aplogising. However, this has been nearly five days ago and she has not returned my text. She is due to come back up for holidays on Friday and I don't know how to approach this.

Let it go........find someone who likes you back...........she'll contact you if she is a true friend...you did enough don't go out of your way any more..no one likes a man like that..

You must move on you have made your feelings plain for her and she does not feel the same way, do not bombard her with texts, phonecalls etc. any more else she will back away even more. If you cannot accept her as a friend avoid seeing her. Get someone who does like you, she has been totally honest with you so give her respect. Good luck

this girl is proberly really confused at the moment. one minute your friends and have a laugh together the next your declering your love and texting her comments that are confusing her. she probably is over welmed and needs time to get over what youve told her. she probably doesnt want to loss you as a friend either. i would act normal around her and dont scare her by being fall on about how you feel. talk to her and just say i didnt mean to be so fall on i just wanted you to now how i feel (in the hope you feel the same way to) and i really want to still be friends and hang out like we usually do.

She probably hasnt replied because she feels awkward, best thing to do is not see her when she comes up and then you can move towards getting over her, unfortunately if she doesnt feel the same you dont have a choice but to get over her.
Also, next time you are planning on getting blotto- dont take your phone it is your worst enemy when drunk as you may decide to tell people EXACTLY what you think of them, make sure one of your friends still has their phones in case of emergency etc.

omg i did exactly that a few weeks ago told a guy i liked him cuz i knew from someone else he liked me but then he turned round and sed that that he cudnt or watever and the same week that i asked him he told me about another girl and omg i was upset! and i havent really heard from him alot since and he was a good friend..dude..only thing u can do is learn from the mistake! And dont jus right it off as a no go..but dont cut off other girls either..jus wait and c wat she says in next few weeks, but when she comes up, jus act as a friend! but no smothering aha! hi 5 go dude x

it sounds as if you have dug yourself a hole that you may have a hard time getting out of, if there is anything is still there you may have to suck it up and humble yourself for a few hours or days. she may be angry at you for quite a while and she may try to make you suffer,depending on what you said in you text. so swallow you pride and suck it up.i wish you the best,
