Of course! There are jokes about the Easter bunny, Santa, the tooth Fairy. Why shouldn't there be jokes about Jesus?

I think cute funny jokes or riddles are fine. As long as it's not rude, blasphemist, demeaning.

I watch South Park sometimes and I don't like the way they portray Jesus. But there was one episode with Jesus and David Blain competing against each other. Jesus was going to perform the miracle of turn 5 fish into hundreds. He had the audience turn around and he took tons of fish from under the table then told the audience to turn back around. I thought is was funny. I didn't see anything wrong with that. Because they make funny of everyone is a funny way.

But I don't agree with jokes about saying Jesus must have been gay because He hung around 12 guys all the time. When people say things about Him committing sins is when I stop laughing.

Is it right to make jokes about Jesus Christ? Of course not. People will do it regardless. However, they'll have to explain to God why they made those jokes on the day of judgement.

No it is not right making jokes about Jesus. I find it distasteful when Christians make jokes having anything to do with God or my Savior. One thing stored in my memory bank is everything I say and do I will stand before God in judgment.

Absolutely. Many of Jesus' best teachings were delivered as jokes. Unfortunately many Christians do not have much of a sense of humour. Also, the humour doesn't necessarily translate from first century Aramaic to 21st century English.

But I don't think Jesus would have objected to you taking the p*ss. He did a lot of that himself.

Well, I don't think Jesus would mind as long as they're tasteful jokes. Not crude or disgusting or disrespectful. I think he must have had a good sense of humor.
Moses, Jesus, and another guy were out playing golf one day.

Moses pulled up to the tee and drove a long one. It landed in the
fairway but rolled directly toward a water trap. Quickly Moses raised
his club, the water parted and it rolled to the other side, safe and sound.

Next, Jesus strolled up to the tee and hit a nice long one directly
toward the same water trap. It landed directly in the center of the pond
and kind of hovered over the water. Jesus casually walked out on the
pond and chipped it up onto the green.

The third guy got up and sort of randomly whacked the ball. It headed
out over the fence and into on-coming traffic on a nearby street. It
bounced off a truck and hit a nearby tree. From there it bounced onto
the roof of a nearby shack and rolled down into the gutter, down the
downspout, out onto the fairway and right toward the same pond. On the
way to the pond, it hit a little stone and bounced out o ver the water,
onto a lily pad where it rested quietly. Suddenly, a very large bullfrog
jumped up on the lily pad and snatched the ball into his mouth. Just
then, an eagle swooped down and grabbed the frog and flew away. As they
pass over the green, the frog squealed with fright and dropped the ball,
which bounced right into the hole for a beautiful hole in one.

Moses turned to Jesus and said, "I hate playing with your Dad.

"If a man strike you on your left cheek, turn to him the right one also"

Do not be troubled when Jesus is disrespected. Our faith is made of stronger stuff than that. We do not need to protect Christ from His children. He knows their hearts and He will deal with them in his time.

Our job, as Christians, is to be "light-bearers" as Christ commanded us. We must share the good news, with love and gentleness, but also through study and firm belief. We must be prepared to answer, calmly and without attacking back, any question that is laid before us. We can only do this by increasing our learning and knowledge in many topics.

Its in the peoples mind as long as you think it is alright it is alright whereas the moment you think it is wrong then it is wrong this applies not only to Jesus Christ but to all gods of all religions.

Nobody in this world who loves himself wants to make jokes out of himself. So if you love yourself and you do make jokes out of youself then go ahead. It does not make any difference. But if you love The Lord you will treat Him in reverence. That makes a difference.

Absolutely not! And, I might add that the Easter Bunny, Santa and the rest are myth. Jesus is not. So, use your best judgement. But, I think I'd err on the side of caution. Afterall, if the "non-believers" are right...nothing lost....but, if they are wrong, those who listened to them are gonna be in a world of hurt!

Yeah, but there's also a limit for me...but I'll still make jokes about Jesus. I don't think he'd care. Hell, he probably makes jokes about us! Fair and square!
