Actually, the scripture is that "he is, was and is to come". The order is important. It refers to live, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was - during the 33 years of his earthly minister. Then he was - he died. And then he is to come - he rose, returned to heaven, and will come again.
So the "how" he was, is and will be is alive. That through the power of God the Father.

Because God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. That is one thing you can count on in this unsure world: that God is God and always was and always will be. And He loves you, always did and always will.

God is always a Spirit, He never was flesh, yes he did dwell in the Flesh of Jesus Christ, But it was Jesus that died & not God, God is a spirit, He was the spirit & still is the spirit, & always will be the spirit. Because there is only ONE SPIRIT.

They forgot to put that bit in the bible, so the christians would have to try thinking about it which may lead to them realising he dosn't exist.
So they leave it alone.
