I am making a powerpoint for a school project, and it turns out that i will have to play a powerpoint 2003 presentaion on powerpoint 2000. After playing it on powerpoint 2000, i found that many of my effects and transitions do not work. Can i accurately play it on 2000 or not? Thanks!!!

Hopefully you saved your power point....
Open your power point and click on file, then package for cd....
This will include all necessary files to run your power point even if the computer your using has an older version or simply doesnt have power point installed....

As long as you dont need to edit the powerpoint presentation again then you can achieve your goal easily, just save the file as a powerpoint show. You do this by clicking on the little arrow below where you put your file name, then you press save. this will create a file which can be used with all the effects and no powerpoint needed.

Your best bet for compatability is to "publish to CD". Where ever you're going will have power point viewer installed I'm sure for compatability issues.

Good Luck!
