She is still young so it is possible for her to have a minor set back in the potty training. Give her lots of praise when she does go outside. Crate training is a good tool to use when potty training but if you do not want to use the crate. Here is something that you can try. Not sure if you allow her access to food and water at night. When we foster puppies, we take away the food and water at about 10 and then let them out to potty before they have to go to bed. With no access to the water or food, they do not go potty in the middle of the night. We are then up at 6 to let them out again and give them their water and breakfast.

Although dogs shouldn't be attributed with having human characteristics, they are intelligent enough to be able to understand the concept of, and execute, certain actions that their owners require of them - if these actions are asked in a way that dogs find rewarding. So, with this rule in mind, owners have to be clever as well and find a way of training their dog that actually works quickly and efficiently. The eBook I wrote explains how to achieve this ideal - how to speak “dog” so that you’re able to communicate effectively with your four-legged friend.
As with any training, the best time to start is as soon as you get your new pet. The fundamentals for successful housetraining are:

- Crate training is very important so it should be mastered.
- A schedule is required for feeding and exercising.
- Be vigilant and patient throughout the training period.

House training is most likely every dog owner’s top concern. And it should begin as soon as possible. That's the very first day your dog comes into your home. If you've adopted a new furry friend and spend months in the home without aiding him/her achieve success when it comes to training then s/he’s going to set a precedence that you now need to change. So, concentrate on prevention as opposed to cure. House training comes down to one
rather simple skill - being a good dog time manager. And this means managing your pup's time so that you let them have as few chances as possible to make house training blunders.

I have a small breed dog and what motivated her more than the praise, was embarrassment. I am not kidding - it is a little something that my Vet recommended for stubborn dogs. When she would wet in the wrong place i would say.."EWWWW...Gross!" and make a big deal about it while i cleaned it up. I didn't get angry at her...just disappointed. Most small dogs want to please, which makes this effective. I would also praise when she went in the right place. After two accidents with this technique, she was trained. Hope it helps.

Crate train her. Why not, as it works? Or give her a kennel outside, then there are no problems at night. Spaying shouldn't make any difference to housetraining. During the day, don't punish her when she wees/poos inside because it's not her fault. Praise and give treats when she does it in the right place. Persist!

And tell her to flush the toilet when she's finished and wash her paws ;-)

A lot of times when dogs are not crate trained and are given too much freedom, they will urinate everywhere they can.

You will want to confine your puppy to a small space (like the kitchen or bathroom) when you are not home or are sleeping (She will stop whinning in 2-3 days). Dogs will not urinate or deficate where they have to be (They dont like stepping or laying in it), so if you put down a wee-wee pad at the opposite end of the room -- she will pee on it. (Use the urine sprays too)

At 6 months old, you should be letting your puppy out every 2-3 hours to do business outside and giving lots of praise. When she does business inside, if you catch her in the act, tell her "No", stop her, and take her outside to finish her business and be sure to really praise her with a high voice "Good girl!!!"

You could try the puppy pads! They worked wonders for my retriver. He also was fixed and this set him back about 2 months. As someone else stated, you move the pad closer and closer to the door. When they do go out side, make them feel like they just won the dog show challange. They love that. This really works at night and first thing in the morning. It gives them a sence of making you VERY happy. Hope this helps.

in the beginning you need to coach your self for a protracted and pungent adventure, one which will gain its reward once you attain that holiday spot. Your dogs has no longer been taught the adaptation between precise and incorrect and might't be blamed or punished for twist of destiny interior the domicile. Use a sturdy carpet cleanser and deodouriser on the already fouled aspects. save her in eye while your are contained in the domicile and take her to the backyard each hour or so. stay together with her into the backyard and wait fror a mutually as, if she is going outdoors compliment her plenty in a loving and exited way and supply her a handle. If she is going contained in the domicile in simple terms overlook approximately her by utilising removing her from the room mutually as you clean. in case you capture her doing it contained in the domicile say NO in a company voice take her outdoors and compliment her if she is going available. displaying aggression or giving punishment in ordinary terms serves to confuse her and frighten her which will make her secretive and scared to bypass in front of you which will make the job greater sturdy. i'd additionally advise registering with a community dogs education consultation to permit you have head to head propose on all component education. seek for suggestion out of your vet in case you have any wellbeing concerns or greater questions.
