You don't say what the argument was about, is he waiting for an apology? If you did nothing wrong, don't chase him, wait for him to contact you, he's probably seeing how long it takes for you to ring him, don't give him the satisfaction.
If he doesn't get in touch, leave it!!! I've been in that position before, I kept chasing him and getting back together for 5 years, he just took advantage of me the whole time.
If he had the audacity not to show up last night, he's not worth the effort.
Good luck.

This happened to me a couple of months back, my bloke went off and said it was getting too serious and he needed a break to go out and see his mates more. I didn't feel the same at the time but after a couple of weeks I enjoyed going out with my friends again more than I expected I would. So we had a month apart and got back together after a month. Now we both see our friends regularly and we're much happier. I hope it works out for you whatever you end up doing :-)

Just ring him up or something. Don't assume the worst, if you've been with him for a year, there must be something there between you two and I think you better sort it out quick before everything is thrown out of proportion.

Talk to him rather than texting. Communication is very important and texting is not the most effective way to do that.
With effective communication, talking to him in person, will bring about better decision making...you can read each other's body language...thats important too...

Text messages are not the way to commincate on such a subject, you need to ring him and either talk about it on the phone or get together and sort it out one way or another.

as hard as this is going to be to hear, maybe he was waiting for the opportunitynto end it and you did it for him. i would play it like a chess game and let him make the next move. he needs time to realize how much you will be missed

you need to either go round to him or ring him up he owes you some sort of reason why he is behaving like this.
