It means intolerance and the murder of those who don't believe the same way so that the Jihadist can ascend to Paradise for all eternity and receive 70 virgins for their efforts! Its based on the fact that in Islam the Muslim has no assurance of salvation unlike in Christianity where we believe that Christ died on the cross for our sins thus saving the baptised believer. Unfortunately, for Muslims the only hope they have of reaching heaven is that they have performed sufficient good deeds in their lifetime to earn a place in Paradise. For the radical Islamist killing those that don't believe in Islam or openly opposing Islamic teaching is considered a good deed worthy of a place in Paradise.

The only time I've ever used the word 'jihad' was when my brother was p!ssing me off, so I told him I'd declare a jihad on his ar$e if he didn't get the hell away from me.
