I don't know if it upsets her so much but you do want to keep a very close eye on her because she might try to go back and visit sometime.

I used to have a boxer and we lived on the same street as his mother and it never bothered him at all. Young puppies are often upset when they leave their mother, especially when left on their own, because they miss their litter mates as well as their mum.

yes as when we bought our pup the mother also lived on the same street as us,and our pup used to go over to the mothers house all of the time when we let him into our garden, but we found after a while the pup stopped going over to its mum and settled down with us

No, the mother usually tries to get away from her pups before they are sold and in 12 months or so they might not even recognise each other and if they do it wont be as mum and pup

Not at all, my friend keeps Whippets and the breeder and the mother of one of her dogs visits regularly, and they have done since my friend bought her, they greet each other wildly but I don't actually think they know they are related!! So don't worry.

Would it upset your mother if you lived on her street?

No, not at all. Dogs don't recognise family connections like humans do. They recognise pack connections. You are her pack mate now - hopefully the pack leader and she should recognise you as such.

Yes, if she isn't allowed to meet. Their sense of smell is awesome.
