the tub has the 4 removable legs to it and sits about 2 feet from the wall so the plumbing comes threw the floor and i'm renting so i want it temporary

Unless you use a hose that has a hanger above the tub, the shower attachments for a clawfoot tub are expensive. The faucet needs to be changed to the newer type with an extra fitting for attaching the riser pipe that holds the shower head. Then there is the matter of hanging an oval shower curtain. Rather cost prohibitive for a rental.

you should be able to buy fittings to go on faucet ( if it has a threaded end-common in old homes ) to install an after mkt shower massage ...if so , a garden hose splitter, half to fill the other to the shower head

Every time he walks into the room, put on a hospital face mask and grab the nearest can of air freshener. Spray it all over him and jump behind the couch yelling "evacuate the area!" He'll get the hint eventually.
