I don't understand. One night all of a sudden. He started humping me and other family members. I can put my foot really high up and move it sideways and he holds on really tight. And my family members are really mad like me. He just started this like a week ago. I have no clue. Any advice would be good.

Ahhh I had this problem basically start over night too about a month ago. My 5 month old kitten went from sweet and innocent to something else on the brain. lol And yes, it started overnight. I had been postponing it as long as I could, but that was my cue to GET HIM NEUTERED. After speaking to our vet (who is a great friend of ours) she told us that he will start spraying within a matter of weeks after they start that and when they start it is virtually impossible to get them to stop. (can be done, but VERY tough I'm sure)

How old is he? Another thing that came along with the "humping" was that he was very curious when we opened our front door and numerous times he bolted leaving us to chase him down. He wanted a female.

If you are planning on getting him neutered, do it and that SHOULD cure this mess. If you aren't planning to... I'm not sure. I think that will be there forever?

No, seriously it's time to get him neutered, after his humping he will start spraying, marking his territory. This is much worse than the humping, the smell is horrible and is almost impossible to get it completely out of furniture, carpets, drapes, even the yard. So if you don't want to deal with that, take him to the vet soon!!

Ah spring time is in the air and so romance.....your kitty needs to be neutered....he will stop humping and calm himself down some....plus he won't start spraying....I have two males and they calmed down a whole lot after being neutered...
