Why would a guy tell you that you are beautiful and could have any guy you wanted, then 2 months later, turn down a friends with benefits relationship with you?

Well looks like he likes somebody else. Somebody he feels for genuinely and would not want to hurt.
It could also be possible that he does not look at you from a purely physical point of view. Just because he said you are beautiful does not mean he is okay about having a no strings attached sexual arrangement.
The real reason really depends on the kind of guy he is. Even though it is percieved that most guys would jump at any opportunity to have sex, I think you would agree that there are all kinds of guys out there who are in various stages of life. You will have to understand this guy correctly to know why he made the choice he made.

Don't take this the wrong way.
But maybe they're a bit more mature than you are. (I know, it's a long shot that a guy could be more mature than a female)
Friend with benefits is nice, but maybe that's NOT what he's in the market for right now. Or maybe he just doesn't want to wreck whatever relationship you all have now.
There's a lot of reasons it could be.
But don't be thrown by it, heck sounds like he might be a decent guy.
Or maybe you put on 40lbs in the last 2 months? lOl j/k

Maybe some guys do want more then just SEX.
The problem with friends with benefits is there could be a lot of friends with benefits in the picture and if a guy really likes a girl he wants to be the only one.
That's just one aspect.

I do not know any guy that would turn down a freinds with benifits relationship, unless.
He is gay.
Has a hatetred towards you.
You are un attractive.
Or you have or look like you have STDs.
He said you were butiful, so thats not it.
Did you do something to make him hate you. oR get stds?(dout it)

I did that once and it was because I really valued her friendship and I was afraid of ruing it. A friends with benefits is hard because one always wants more than just friends.
