Just in the past month, my 4yr old male cat has been removing stuffed animals from a childs room and has been bringing them to the living room. He only does this at night when everyone is sleeping. He is the only male out of 3 cats in our house and is the oldest. He was fixed when he was 5 months old.

It's possible that your cat just likes them, he probably brings them out to play with and when he gets bored with one, fetches another.
As long as he's not wrecking them or anything then theres probably nothing to worry about. If it's really bugging you having to haul the kids toys back into the room everymorning, then buy him a few of his own. St Vinnies and Lifeline alays have cheap stuffed animals that are ideal for pet toys and don't cost a fortune, keep them somewhere out of the way but where he can still get to them to play with after hours and hopefully he'll leave the ones in the kids room alone.
It's just a funny personality quirk, most animals have them. My Abssynian cat Malu won't drink out of anything other than a running tap. My other cat OttoMan will carry our Boston Terrier pup on his back.

Good luck.

Maybe he's feeling a bit insecure, or maybe it's fluctuating hormones. Sometimes cats start collecting clothing etc, and it just becomes a habit. Apparently Burmese are good at that, and sometimes collect their neighbors socks and stuff. He's not doing any harm, dont worry.

men look extra laid back than women persons. yet once you purely have the only male, this is going to not probably rely. jointly as that's extra low-priced to have a male fixed, with a girl you do not would desire to complication approximately them liking one yet another as lots. men would nicely be kind of temperamental with that regularly. I believe the adoption element tho. a number of the time, they are already spayed/neutered and function their pictures. Plus its great to rescue a variety of undesirable adult men from a cage life in a glance after. regardless of you do, wait till your male cat is thoroughly healed till now introducing yet another cat. do not wanna thoroughly rigidity him out. stable success!

my cat goes to the laundry room at night, and carries one of my socks up to the living room.
every night... she's weird.
i think it's just cause she can't get in the room with us, and it has my scent on it. ( i know, it's my feet, weird)
if he isn't ... molesting.. the animal, maybe he just wants it cause it has your childs scent on it, so he can sleep with it.
