I am hoping to find questions from people who actually want to know things, rather than be intent upon insulting and belittling other people. I find it hard to understand why people who have turned their backs on any form of religious belief themselves have this urge to attack people of faith. Why can't they simply find it in themselves to shrug it all off and leave others to do their own thing? I can only conclude that they are literally hell bent on causing misery and offence.

Real questions, ( they are few & far between here! ), not the bs that I mostly see here on R&S. By this I mean questions that deserve an answer, questions that make you think & reflect & pull an answer from deep inside yourself. These are the type of questions that have merit. I totally agree with what others have said about proving or disproving something, in this it can not really be done. This is not a science like phsysics where you can put it all down on paper or work out the equasion on a chalkboard. In a lot of ways this is very intangible stuff you either know it to be true or you don't. You can't beat it into somebody, like I have known some organized religious people try and beat it into you with their books. This does not work that way, it's more by your heart and how it feels about something. If your not in touch with your heart then you cannot understand what I'm saying anyway, so don't bother trying.
Many questions I see here I just blow right on by them. They are either just plain stupid or downright mean. I find few real questions here. Once in awhile you find a joke question that is fun to answer in a humorus way. These help keep it light in what I find to be an increaseingly dark space, yes I'm speaking of R&S. In the few months I've been here I've watched it going downhill. Brought down by the hate and bad attitudes of other participants. It is a realm being sucked into darkness. But I guess it had to happen, being a reflection of the world and the state it's in!

well, it depends really..i like questions that make me think and wonder..i sometimes like questions that are being heatedly debated(not the ubiquitious 'Prove that God exists' or whatever..)i enjoy 'questions' that are knowledgeable, that makes me aware of a lot of stuff, i like questions that i'm able to answer....oh yeah, i also like these kinds of questions......but now, mostly they're hard to find, since this section is being dominated by either retards or people arguing about the creation/evolution bit.so i try not to expect much so as not to be disappointed.

I prefer Historically based ones, Relgion has alot of history. I also look for racist ones and hope that I can convince people that everyone is equal. This question is probably my favourite so far :P.

Something intelligent and thought-provoking. The kind of thing that makes you think about your answer and also could make for interesting conversation and/or debate.

I'm not. If the questions were predictable it would be boring.
Questions I don't like are ones asking to 'prove' something or absolute 'does god exist' questions because they are pretty pointless.

Questions which make mistaken assumptions about atheists, which I can correct, or questions about religious belief, to which I can give my perspective.
