Yes Germany would have won the war in Europe if the had conducted operation Sea lion (the invasion of the British Isles) before they conducted operation Barbarossa (invasion of Russia). They could have secured the front and only had to deal with a land war vs Russia which would have been manageable since the Russians would not have been receiving the material aid they did from USA and England. The British Military was on the verge of collapse until Hitler order a change in the bombing priorities due to a successful air raid against Germany.

What everyone has missed here is the fact that Hitler had no want of war with Great Britain, he in fact admired us as a world role model and no thought was really ever put into invading the UK it was all half hearted improvision more to scare the UK to negotiate see Von Mansteins Lost Victories.
The attack on Russia was a very much needed as documents that have come to light in Russia in the past few years show that Operation Barbarossa was a pre-emtive attack.
If Hitler had not stuck at the USSR we would have all been fighting the reds by the late 40s

Yes. If the U.S. had not intervened. The 3rd Reich had a very concise, detailed plan. With Europe being the killshot for the Win. In place within the Parliment Germany had its chair. The French resistance was a pain in the **** for them. And the US was only but an effective divergence that kept the Nazi's supplies and men busy. Some interesting scenarios. Like when Russia beat the German offensive and made them run for home freezing their toes off. What if Hitler would not have attacked at that time. but waited till another theater was over.

Without question yes. Germany would not have had to commit as many troops and materials to North Africa, millions of troops would not have had to go to the Eastern Front and by 1940/41 only Britain remained a realistic opposition in Europe. With the full might of the German army, air force and Navy to bring to bear on Britain the war would not have lasted more than six months

No doubt about it!! Hitler did make the big mistake himself by turning around and attacking Russia! They did have a Peace Treaty with Russia and they did mess it up. Had Hitler left Russia alone, and Just went for England, he would have got it! Now the United States would have kept supplying England as long as it could and probably would not have really gotten into the War had Hitler's Buddy Japan not attacked us first!! Then, after Japan had attacked Pearl Harbor, as their Admiral Said, "We have awaken the Sleeping Giant." It is good that Hitler did make the mistake he did! Then the whole world was against him and he was sure to lose!

NO. if you read and wach some of the very good documentries you will find that hitler did not want war with britain. he admired the fact we ruled india with such a small force and planed to do the some with ussr. also there was strategy war games in the 70s with surviving generals and commanders who would have conducted sealion and those who would have repelled it. the outcome was that the german invasion would have died out and we would have regained our island back. but who knows it is all just speculation. However the nazi's by end of ww2 had near compleated a icbm that was capable of reaching new york and it is believed it would have carried some type of dirty bomb.

No question. In fact even with Russia, all of Europe would have fallen. America pretty much saved the world from Hitler and Stalin. The America rebuilt the entire continent of Europe twice. America also rebuilt all of Japan. And then America protected all of Europe for 60 years.

Probably, the Germans were defeated by British courage and determination but aided a hell of a lot by luck , Hitler being a tw*at by invading Russia and the Americans basically out producing the Germans with Tanks etc. The British may have held back an invasion but with the Atom bomb being developed by the Nazis if they had succeeded they would have dropped it on us for sure.
We have a lot to thank the USA for even if Hollywood portrays history as all their own work!

I think Britan,Scotland Ireland etc.. maybe would have been able to fend off Germany, If the Americans had still continued to supply them with war materials. You have to remember, Americans entered the war before the Country did as volunteers. Mostly as fighter Pilots and grounds crews. Also Russia has Royalty ties with Britan and without Russia fighting by Germanys side to defeat the English I fidn it even more doubtful.

Hitler's biggest mistake was to fight a war on two fronts. The eastern front with Russia the westrn front against the allies. had Hitler not attacked Russia and the USA had not joined the war then the likelyhood of the axis powers winning WW2 would have increased significantly.
