I tried Bitter Apple and she STILL chews! I can't watch her all the time and really don't wanna confine her in a cage.
She is 8.5 years old and it has gotten BAD the past 2-2.5 years or so. Please advise!!!

It sounds like, from your other question too, that your cat is misbehaving over the last few years. Is she left alone a lot? Have you moved or any other big changes?

You could try tacking your cords to the walls so they are hard for her to get at. To keep her away from the plants try buying her some of her own kitty-friendly plants like grass and catnip and grow them in an area where they are easily accessible. Put your plants out of the way. It may be that she is having problems with her teeth- many cats' gums become inflamed as they age and their teeth become covered in plaque. She may need a professional cleaning.

Rub her paws in some catnip and a little on the tip of her nose, so she can find another source of entertainment. She'll be too busy rolling around in joy to remember chewing the cords and plants.

I think your cat has tooth problems. Or it's that she's not having much hard food to chew on, so her teeth might be feeling the 'hunger' of wanting to bite something. Bring her to a vet just in case.

you have to teach her not to bite there, spray her with the water bottle or something. She could die from eating certain plants, and cords are no better. she could get a shock if you don't stop her. She is your responsiblity. Take care of her.

cats dont like sticky things, so maybe if you wrapped double sided tape around the cords, she will leave them alone.
