they are avaters ..when it says edit profile on yahoo answers it says no pictures,360 picture or avater picture( under avater picture it says get one ) click on the link then you can create your own and then if you refresh edit profile page then it will go on to it =) =)

they are avatars. go to yahoo 360 and in communication it has a section called avatars. you can sign in ad design your alter ego there. have fun!
