I'm looking for a friend who used to work with me in Singapore in 1988/89. His name is Neil Shingles and he is from England. He used to work for Woolsworth Chain of bookstores. I have lost his old address and want to get in touch with him. Can someone out there help?

you could try friends reunited but this will only work if he has joined the site.
You could always try electoral register.
I have attached 3 links, I'm not sure how much they will help.
If you know what area he lives in you could always try an advertisement in the local paper.
Good luck and I hope that you get reunited.

That wont be easy Im afraid. You can pay for a subscription to 192.com which lists all the telephone directories and electoral rolls going back a few years.
