Why when he used to play with the mavs he wans't as good as he is now? He was never mention in the MVP conversations. He was just 1 or 2 time All star. I personally think is cuz' he got better teammates and mike d' antoni style adapts more to his game. What do you all think?

I wouldn't say he wasn't as good as he is now, because remember that Dallas team had proven superstars in the mold of Dirk Nowitzki and Michael Finley and the offense ran through those two. With the Suns he has the benefit of a young team that can really run and shoot the ball so he can rack up the assists dishing it to his shooters and feed finishers like Marion and Amare on the fast break and because teams fears his passing he can then create 1 on 1's on favorable matchups, and because he has taken on the leadership role and winning he is a deserving MVP candidate.

You are absolutely correct. Nash is as good as his teammates, just like Dirk. They are team players and should be applauded for making the other guys better. Dallas made a mistake in letting him get a way, but then again despite his two MVP's, Dallas is getting better and better. I like Nash's style of play, but he's so much better with the Suns. He's the reason, the catalyst behind their progress, but they won't beat the Mavs.

The style of play of the suns is more his style. He also matured and as he matured became a better player. As far as better teammates goes I don't think there are any better teammates than the Dallas Mavericks. Maybe he should come back and finally have a shot at that ring.

the style fits his style perfectly... thats why when he's not in the game the suns offense begins to breakdown, the offense molds around him and when he's out there's a lot of discomfort on the floor. I feel this is a main reason Marcus Banks unfortnately hasn't fit in with the team, he had such big shoes to fill when running steve nash's offense and he just couldn't do it because his style isn't exactly like nash's

yeah... he was just surrounded with great talents in the suns and its really him which is considered as first option in that team while when hes with the mavs it was really all nowitzki!!! in suns, he got that chance of what he's really capable of.
