If you look at the old school education system in india, the masses were neither educatued nor literate. Surely literacy should be viewed as a positive stepping stone towards education. At least now more people have access to education. Their education system is improving and there are many highly educated people coming through their system. I do believe the education system in India is far from perfect but it is improving. There are many schools in the western world that are failing people too.

The proverb goes.
If money is lost nothing is lost, if health is lost something is los, .if character is lost every thing is lost.
In the modern system I do not think the proverb has got any value. If you see the majority of modern educational products, it shall be, if character is lost nothing is lost, if health is lost something is lost and if money is lost everything is lost.
So the modern education has given you literature and knowledge on the subject less education. Education has an elaborate meaning spread over the four spears around you.

Yes That's 92% right but 8% of the students are missusing it. Students are getting benefited from the Modern School Education...

Absolutely correct! People have learned to read and write and that too quite well, they are doing exceedingly well in it too, but the true education is the education of the mind where the mind is trained to be discilpined! The real educated lot is in my opinion the one that is adorned with virtues.

I agree with you.For that matter most of the so called educated are also mostly literate only,you can observe.
It is a welcome situation that literacy is on the increase,first let them become literate,with that they can become educated,So this is the first step/The second step will be surely there.Let us hope and also do the needful in this great effort,

now children do not to school for study. they goes to school for fun, enjoy. looking girls and boys makeing ****** comments.
