It was the same in primary 2.
Primary 3 was worse. My new form misstress did not even call on me to do stuff.
Primary 4 was almost the worst. My new form misstress who taught me was so damn fierce.Plus,I only held a miserable position of a English Head of department.1st came Chair then Vice-Chair,then English Head.
I dunn wanna continue bout Primary 5 and 6 and Secondary and all that.
I feel like my school work is going down.If this continues,i think i will be last in class.
Someone please help me?

You seriously need to give us more info than that for a good answer- like how much ur marks are, and what type of a person u r in class(an accepted student or I'm-always-the-one-picked-on type or the bully or bullied one!)

First thing, develop a +ve outlook. Smile and get active- but dont become a dork.
If you are a tattletail, stop telling on ur clasmates.

About studying- its a fact that some ppl are brighter than others- so tell us where ur in trouble. If u go online a lot, try searching (Google/ Yahoo search, etc) for 'effective studying'.

Find ur talents- if ur good at singing, develop it and do it for some class/school function.

Confide in ur best friend or a big sister- frends always help. Create new friends and share and care with them (but dont bug)

we shall help out better if we knew ur actual problem...

As what Mr. Girishloveslife's said, have a positive outlook. If you want your teacher to notice you, sit in the front row so your teacher would easily see you and call you for things to do. Make sure you raise your hand to answer or just ask a question, at least once a day in each class. This way, your teachers would remember you more as the active-participating student in his / her class. Don't get discouraged if your Misstress would give you an unpleasant comment. They would do that sometimes. It's expected if you say your Misstress is as fierce as I think she/he is. Don't let it stop you. Participate in school activities or volunteer to assist in some of the school projects. Get yourself noticed in a positive way and you'll see good results.

Talk to your parents. They might be able to help. There are some poor teachers out there and sometimes you and your teacher have different styles and you don't connect fully. If you are finding something difficult ask for help. Get this from classmates, parents, teachers or helpers in the classroom. You seem to want to learn so that is good. Don't despair. Try to look at what you are good at and then see wgere you need to improve. There are resources out there to help you get back on track in most subject areas. You mightn't be doing as badly as you think, you know! Please don't give up, keep trying.

First off, don't blame the teacher for your achievement or lack thereof. Second, don't listen the other poster - Math never gets easier. If you are behind, you need to get caught up now because all of it builds on previous knowledge. Finally if you want to do better you are going to have to try harder and study more. School gets harder every year. They let you slide at first, but after awhile, they have to get harder. If you need help, get a tutor or ask the teacher to help after school.
