Tony obviously thinks his divine ability is apologising to dead people about what other dead people did....over 200 years ago. No doubt some compensation will be forthcoming from current live taxpayers to people that had nothing to do with it. Sadly it is the way of the world and one of the reasons why I don't live int he UK any more.

What, and get locked up for life? Though with any luck that still might happen.
But to be fair you have hit the nail on the head, Blair is apologising for the past and quietly stirring up racial tension again simply to divert attention away from his duplicity, treason, and deceit.
But what else can you expect from a man nickname Brenda?

According to the rules of Tony Blair, he has done NOTHING wrong, so therefore feels he has nothing to apologise for. I have never felt so let down by someone I actually voted for, I must have had a mental blackout that day!!!

theres no way he can apollagise for somthing that he hasent done or anyone in our lifetime has done.at the end of the day the british empire has bin quite evil at times,it was them or started the slave trade other countrys followed france, germany,u.s etc but also it was the british who ended it,and by 1914 britain was fighting for freedom and they risked there lives, empire for the world and thats why they dont have a beutiful empire anymore and had to start from sctratch in the early 50s

I still don;t get whats with all this pologising for something over 200 years ago. Have the blacks forgotten who dips their hands in their pockets to help all the African states in times of dire need? Or indeed any country that has famine, natural disaster, the Brits stump up time and time again, isn't that enough? I think it is, and to be honest, I am loathe to give anything more to any of these charities when they seem to ignore that fact

I nearly puked when I saw the newspaper on the weekend. A sweet-faced young white girl was on the cover saying sorry for slavery and oppressing the black people. This while the biggest killer of black people on the planet today is other black people. This young girl has nothing to do with harming black people. Wow, we really have lost the plot.

Very good point and agree entirely - would also like an apology for allowing 'tax all of your money (i.e. dictator)' Gordon Brown to be his number 2 and therefore in with a chance of being PM (god forbid).

I have stated several times, while everyone is apologizing for the past, I want to be apologized to for dinosaurs. Dinosaurs have turned into oil and are causing pollution, global warming, wars and those damn SUVs that hog up the road.
