Can bussiness communities lots be turn to houses for sims2?

I've asked before if sims can own more than one house and the answer was not but the can own comunities lots, so can they be turn to houses?

they can own community lots as well as houses but as far as i no they cannot be turned into houses as when you build on a piece of empty land they ask if you would like it residential or community hope that helped
