Since Saurav Ganguly has said no to captaincy already, it should be Yuvraj Singh and the most preferred coach will be John Wright. If they can ask Dev Whtmore for coaching, it will be better.

We do not have a deputy captain ready in the team. The longest serving deputy captain - Sehwag has shown himself to be unfit, so Dravid will have to continue as captain for some more time, till the next captain has been groomed in.

Yuvraj and other people are too young and have not shown enough maturity on the field to deserve this chance.

Tendulkar will not accept captaincy (considering his current form, its not advisable either). Ganguly should not be given the captaincy, keeping in mind that we need to develop a new captain.

Indian coaches have in the past not shown enough stomach for the job. Born-Great cricketers like Kapil and Gavaskar do not necessarily make good coaches. So, we might have to look outside for a good coach. Someone like Vengsarkar or
Manjrekar might be better options

I think the captain will be Sourav Ganguly and his deputy will be Yuvraj Singh. For the coach I think any one between Mohinder Amarnath, Sandip Patil and Kapil Dev have a good chance.
