If u want to edit a PDF docuemnt use the 'mark' tool on the top to select the content. It will be like an arrow.
Select all that u want n put them into a word file and save the changed content as a PDF.
Or u can try out soem word to PDF converters and vice cersa over the internet for the same.

You will never know unless you do reverse engineering and reconvert the PDF file to its original one and thats too cumbersome and not worth trying. The best thing would be to take a printout of the same and scan it with an OCR into word file and make the corrections and one cannot differentiate it easily.
