Examples are: In Humans: (1) Appendix, (2) coccyx or Tail Bone, (3) plica semilunaris that is small fold of tissue on the inside corner of the eye (4) Wisdom teeth are vestigial third molars that human ancestors used to help in grinding down plant tissue (5) the formation of goose bumps in humans under stress is a vestigial reflex.
In Whales: Vestigeal Legs (The hind legs)
In Python: The spike which is vestigeal resembles a pair of small legs.
In Crabs: Tail tucked in shell.

Such organs are called vestegial organs. They are remains of evolution. For example, apendix, the nipples in man, the muscles for movement of ears in human beings, and to some extent, the hair in armpits and groin.

well, the spleen is an useless organ, so is the appendix seeing as in some people it is a ticking time bomb. If it brusts it can kill you. also the tonsils are pretty useless as well.

Appendics is a vestigial ogan in our human body, it is supposed to used for digestion of raw green foods our anchestors ate. since our food habits have changed now it has no use
