I just shaved against it and i have red spots come up on my chin/neck but i used veet mosituriser after and its now sliky smooth!

Makes me laugh that some of you think that your trees! lol

OH a woman joining in on the convo, do you have a hairy face aswell?! lol

Apparently both... The best shave is sposed to be.... First go with the grain,, then against it , then with it again... Sopsed to be the closst you can get... Can take a while though....

Go with it at first. Going against after wards will result in a smoother finish. Some guys have more sensitive skin and can hurt. I don't have a problem going any direction and don't really even have to use shaving cream. Just do what your skin will allow you to without too much pain or discomfort. Maybe after you've shaved for a while it will get easier.

I shave with the hair growth then change my blade apply more foam and go against the growth for a real smooth finish.
Believe or not I have found a link that gives you step by step instructions.

ideally you should shave the way the hair grows. however what i do its shave with the grain then against it to get a really smooth close shave.

then if i want a really close shave go back over it against the grain...

Usually shave with it. It can get sketchy shaving against it with a slightly dull razor!
