No.
RISK is not the same as CERTAINTY.
Are you trained? What are your chances?
The idea is to pit your training, skill, and luck against the antagonist.
I risk my life daily for other people. I'm not suicidal - I enjoy the risk, I enjoy the feeling I get from helping others. If I fry, or get a disease, or get shot, c'est la vie. At least I went down swinging.
EVERYBODY dies eventually - Some folks just die doing something useful.
Heinlein had a great line that I liked "Better a live louse than a dead hero? I don't think so. Everyone dies eventually and the louse is forever having to explain his choice."

It would be dependant on the circumstances. What the other man was bandshing. What his mood was. Etc. Would depend on his strength and mine.
Lots of things to consider.
Can you catch him off guard?
The weakest place to hit someone is in the back of the knees or directly on the knee caps, they fall rather quickly.
On the neck is a place where you can drive a fingernail in that will take them out of commission.
Sticking your fingers in their eyes as hard as you can. Painful and blinding.
Bending back a finger can disable at least one hand. Turn your wrist over so your hand is up held up. You will notice some blood vessels in the wrist area, you can sever those and have a little blood fountain going on.
Hitting a woman in her chest will knock the air out of her as surely as you had hit her in the stomach. A man is the same way, just doesn't hurt as much.
There are a lot more ways to take someone else out. If that is what you want to do.
Sucidial ............... maybe. But so is walking across the street in some places.

No. If you're trying to SAVE your life, that's not suicidal. Just standing there and letting the man shoot you without defending yourself would be suicidal. Also, risking your life for someone else is not suicidal, but brave. If I saw a car about to hit someone, and I could save him/her by jumping up and pullling them away, even if I got hit instead, I would do it without hesitation.

No, the definition of suicide is to end one's life on purpose. If a guy did point a gun to your face, either way it's a 50-50 shot, fighting back actually mean you want to save your life. Besides, suicide is when you end your life YOURSELF. the whole point of suicide is control. Get it?

No.
Because you don't intend to die.
You go into the situation aware that you "might" die... but having decided that the price of doing nothing is far higher than the price of trying.
You do intend to come out of the situation alive, but make no mistake in knowing you might not.
Then again, you could be jumping at the guy with the gun in order to get him to fire.... THAT would be suicidal...

I think it would depend on the circumstances. If your only thoughts would be to save the other person, then I say no. If you would have thoughts along the lines of this finally being it and that you could go out heroically, than I believe yes.
