How do you compare the two?

I haven't seen a movie version of THE FOUNDATION but the series written by Isaac Asimov is awesome! One of the best works of science fiction of all time!!
While STAR WARS, well, that's just sugar coated entertainment that doesn't even make sense in parts. Luke and Leia were born and everybody seems surprised they're twins. Hullo? Nobody thought to do a sonogram?

I loved reading all Of Issac Asimov's "Foundation" books. I believe they would make an excellent movie. But you are trying to compare books to movies. Hard to be subjective.
