How do I find out just by searching my computer, I need it to hook up my portable device to the internet, yes this is all wire-less.

Start > Run > cmd
type: ipconfig /all
It will display everything.

When you say Default Router I think you mean Default Gateway. Thats what it will be listed as.

Open command prompt (start,run,cmd)
type ipconfig/all and it should come up or add > ip.txt to write the information into a txt file named ip. not where the location is. ie
"ipconfig/all > ip.txt"

Click Start -> Run... and type "cmd" and press Enter.
In the command window type "ipconfig /all"
Type "exit" and hit enter when finished or just close the window.

you can chek this by either running nslookup command from command line (this would tell you your primary and secondary dns server)
use command ipconfig /all from command line to to know your ip adress and default gateway..

just run ipconfig /all line command via your dos prompt command
