I think they are screwed without Matthew LeCroy this year!!! Just Joking! I am from MN and we all like to make fun of him here. Glad to have him back to poke fat jokes at!
I still wanna cry when i think we gave up on David Ortiz in order to hand the DH role to LeCroy!
Anywho, nice tangent huh?

The Nationals won't be as bad as everyone says this year. They have a lttle pitching and some hitting.I don't play in the MLB because I would strike out or have an ERA of 76.89 if I did.

They wont do well this season; but if you can watch through the losing, this will be a season for auditions for '08. Guys like Patterson, Williams, Escobar, Snelling, Church, O'Brian will determine if they can be legit big leaguers. The pen isn't bad, but there are no PROVEN starters, and aside from Zimmerman, no real impact guys(ok, MAYBE a healthy Kearns). Theres a good chance that Escobar and/or Snelling-if they can finally stay healthy-can emerge as decent to very good players. Like I said before, if your' gonna watch the Nats alot this season, just realize its a "shake out" year-guys are either gonna sink or swim, and the ones who swim will have a place on the '08 team.

The nationals will be suprisingly good and will be a competetive team with a manager that preaches winning, unity, great baseball fundimentals, and will rely on 4 players as his core group to moniter spirits.Contrary to what most people think washington nats baseball in 2007 will be competetive and a want to win atmoshere WILL BE PRESENT

Bad decision not to retain Frank Robinson as manager and to let Soriano go. Poor front office.
