Sounds to me like you need to get another party involved in this issue. It's completely bogus that they have had the car for almost 2 months now and still have not resolved the problem. Would seem to me that they should take it somewhere else to have it fixed and pay for it. You may want to talk to the service manager and see what he would be willing to do. Other wise I would get a third part involved (AKA Lawsuite) Also spread the word to everyone who walks on to that lot as to the imcompitance of the service staff. Theres no reason why it would take 2 months to repair a car. What are they doing replacing it piece by piece untill the problem goes away? This is probablly the reason the other owner sold it to begin with.

If the car was 2003 is it not out of Warranty?
If so are you paying for this work?
What exactly is this engine "problem"?
What are they saying about why it took so long?

Re the wheel nuts coming off then it sounds as if they have some pretty incompetant mechanics working there.
They surely would be embarrased about that and will fix it straight away.

So, you obtain arrested... tried to thieve lower back, the coolest same way... And are asking in case you broke the regulation... in basic terms on the grounds which you do not take something does not advise you're actually not breaking different rules. Breaking and entering (it rather is not considerable in the event that they left it unlocked... you have no appropriate to pass into their vehicle). You needless to say did not learn your lesson the 1st time, what makes every physique think of you will learn it the 2d time?

You can't claim for the HP payments - this is just a loan you are repaying, which you are obliged to do.
You are more likely to have success by making a claim for being sold an item not fit for purpose from the seller.

personally I would keep a diary of dates names and reciepts for work done and work not done the it would be a trip to fare tradings for the seller of the vehicle and and trip to the citizens advice bureau for the so called repairers and if they are the same company fare trading standards would be the only place I would go.
You have rights.
