No situation repeats itself in real life. There are no second chances.
You will however find similarities between situations that allow you to apply what you learned before to the case at hand.
But in any case, I have no regrets and would not "change" nor "redo" anything in my life, given the choice.

Yes, it is very frustrating to see yourself going around that same circle you have been on before.
I am not sure if we all get second chances but I know that if we come to the realization that we deserve a second chance it is very likely that we will receive it. On the downside though, if the same behavior relapses than the situation becomes harder to deal with (harder than first time around); and you may not always find the same amount of strength you wish you could. I try to shut my self out and wait, and wait before inflicting further pain at that point. No matter how grueling it gets there is always going to be a point in time where you will have moved on beyond your dilemma and it will not hurt as much... Change is always good but pain and struggle may tag along with it, hope you resolve and come through what it is you are dealing with.

I definatley believe in devine intervention God stepped in and changed my life. There are those that would say I need to go to church and read the bible but I have differnt beliefs. With this second chance I am different I pay attention more I help children in need (screw adults there evil) (except hot women of course)
I also have started school again for another go at it but this time something Im into and now a Phd. What would somebody do with a second chance you ask? BEST THAT I POSSIBLY CAN

Hey Jed,
I think you pretty much answered your question, i would merely like to add, what i would have done is disobeyed my mother, when she said i couldn't play football, when i had a considerable number of clubs in London streaming at my door. Through all the painful things i've endured in my life, i think that is the most painful, as people confirmed to me what i always believed inside. Which is that i was one of those boys that could have lived my dream and been a professional footballer. It's important to 'realistically' chase your dream, and equally ithink as long as it's healthy, it's cruel to deprive anybody of their dream. I feel life does not always render us what we deserve, however it is the shape of our life, and acceptance of whatever circumstance allows/prepares us for things which may happen later. It's also fundamental top learn the lessons life offer so we don't perpetuate continual negative outcomes. Anyways my fingers are aching, take care and be well....

I don't know if everyone gets a second chance in life, but I got one. If I could change or redo anything I guess I would never have started smoking, experimenting with drugs or drinking anything with alcohol. I'll pay for my mistakes for the rest of my life but, at least, I have a life.

Yes. And I have already made that change. I left school originally without finishing my high school and I always regretted it. So, I went back and did my high school, finished a teaching degree and the rest of it is history. I think I was lucky, though. Many of us don't get this second chance.
