something more towards a business look for the graduation ceremony, skirt or pants up to you, just should look professional.
you can put on the formal black dress later if you have a formal party.
congratulations and good luck

classic wedding ceremony ettiquette strongly discourages donning both all-black or all-white clothing, as all-black is an illustration of lack of life and mourning, at the same time as all-white is the colour the bride will be donning (significant no-no to out-shine the bride!). Of the dresses you discribed, i believe the single with white floral print may be the most perfect on the "classic" wedding ceremony, by way of the indisputable fact that's maximum in all probability a superior stability of both hues. besides the indisputable fact that, you probably did not say no matter if the marriage became a huge formal wedding ceremony or a small casual wedding ceremony. At small weddings, maximum traditions like that are thrown out the window because the couple is extra worried about your presence quite than your cloth cabinet. or maybe at large formal weddings, a tasteful gown it truly is all black or as a rule black with white is taken under consideration suitable. see you later as you do not positioned on all-white, you have to be fantastic. have relaxing, and strong success with the bouquet toss! :-D

My daughter's prof told the grads it would be best to dress as if interviewing because these days there will sometimes be human resources folks there taking notes. I don't know where you live but in New England / Boston companies still like to see women wear skirt suits or a good dress to an interview.
Sexist, yes, but it's still true.

Dress in a smart suit that you can wear again when going on interviews in the future.

Whatever you feel comfortable in,its a long process to wait through.A business dress code as in slacks and jacket looks ok, sometimes formal isnt warranted.jeans arnt appropriate.

knee length, charcoal grey pencil skirt and a pair of simple kitten heels.
Shoes - black or grey tones would be more formal, but don't hold yourself back...go ahead and add a splash of color for fun
Skirt - Patterns!!! Pinstripes are hot!
