I'm 24 and I still have to sleep on 'period sheets'. I don't wear tampons and I don't like to have to get up in the middle of the night, so that time of the month I break out the old sheets I don't care about. What will I do when I'm married and is this normal?

I see how my ? was unclear. Yes, I use pads, just not tampons. A heavy period isn't normal?

I'm a man, but that sounds like good advice above.

With my periods I would actually take a beach towel that I had designated just for periods and put it on the bed to sleep on during that time.

It sounds like you are having problems with the flow of your period being super heavy so like the others I would recommend seeing your dr to have this evaluated to see what could be causing this.

Ever thought to use a sanitary napkin. They have the really thick ones for when you are sleeping.
