Just what we need... another taxpayer-paid 'holiday' - hey, I am all for the Super Bowl and have them all on tape or DVD, but to make a federally-paid holiday following it is way wrong. NFL football is a sport like any other. I mean, should we also make a holiday following the World Series, NBA Finals, The Masters, BCS Championship, Stanley Cup, Final Four or the Indy / Daytona 500s? What about making the two weeks of the Olympics national holidays, so we can all fully support and cheer on our nation's athletes? How many more holidays do we need anyways? I'm self-employed and get no state/federal PAID holidays... if I want a day off, I choose to LOSE money. Why should the government have us taxpayers pay for so many holidays for so few priveleged people?

You're so funny! The war was based upon noble intent. It removed a ruthless dictator that had torture prisons throughout his country. He even planted seeds of disinformation that he did have WMD, he just miscalculated the USA's resolve to stop him if he did. Iran is making the same mistake. The day they get confirmed to have a Nuke, they will be attacked and probably destroyed.
I'm sure that Saddam regretted his actions when it was too late and I'm sure the leadership in Iran will also have regrets, when it's too late.
Super Bowl? I for one have never seen one single show. I'd prefer to mow my grass.

Hell No. The drunks have enough holidays throughout the year. They don't need another.
Football sucks, anyway. A true American keeps baseball close to the heart. It takes more than men with fat arses and slapping each other on the hiney to play that. It takes skill and athletism. Any 3 year old can plummel their peers like a football player does.
