I disagree because many redneck's are not into current events so they live back in the JFK's day. They consider themselves southern democrats.

Actually, most rednecks are liberals. Reason being is most rednecks I know are on public subsistence and are very happy and content to be getting it. They love the welfare programs and free govt handouts the liberals promote. So they have to be liberals at heart to accept these things as readily as they do.
