I'm designing some stationery for teen girls and would like to know what sort of clothes, shoes, hair etc they're into, and what they would like to see on stationery. I'm 36 and a mother of a son (3) so don't have a clue!

even if you had a teenage son you still would not have a clue . i am a mother of a 14 and 12 year old girls they wear as little as possible ,my girls change there school bags, pencil cases, pens, pencils, rulers etc every other week thank goodness they have a Saturday job,the main clothes are jumper dresses, skinny jeans, your best bet would be to buy teen mags beware they are not for the faint hearted, and do not leave them around for you little boy.If it helps i could get my daughters to help you out check out my profile hope this helps

The thing I have seen most often is the footless tights or leggings look, with a long top over the top and a pair of ballet slipper type shoes and a little jacket.

80's is back in. I saw 2 girls wearing a pair of leg warmers between them one left and one with the right. Ive also0 seen a few schollies going about with loads of badges on thier jackets. So anything from your own childhood/teen years would be fine

Well, I went into Stationary Box the other day and the woman in there said that she had just seen 3 teenage girls (about 15) all with dummies in their mouths. Oh dear lol

This is actually true :-S

i would be looking for simple but a bit funky im into fashion. i am quite into sketches at the mo and i think that would be a fab design to have mini sketches of models with clothes on in black pen etc. that kinda thing

I would suggest checking out your competition before actually designing.

Websites like Whsmith, helix and claires accessories often do ranges of stationery alongside big names like office and paperchase.

probable only good shade make it look actual non violent because youthful ones take care of a **** tun of emotions so i'd make it like a tangerine shade no longer some thing person-friendly blue or purple which will mess your teen up. locate accessible activity, activities, surf, dance then make the subject your own.
