I'd nominate Black Goliath from Marvel comics, but he kicked the bucket during the Civil War storyline. Who else? Paul Bunyon is more skilled with chopping trees. Galactus would be more intent on eating the planet. The Jolly Green Giant has no fashion sense, especially his hair (have you seen his hair, BTW?). Hire a bunch of laser equipped Blue Angels and have them fly around the sky, and zap the afro.
