I am not aware of a device that can be fitted retrospectively to an existing seat but there are a very large number of these toilet seats now availble self-closing in bathroom showrooms - and they do close softly - try looking for a Roper Rhodes Affinity - excellent product at a good price.

Yes i would, as there is nothing worse than going to the toilet in the middle of the night and sitting down on the freezing cold toilet pan, where some one has left the toilet seat up.
(I don't put the light on as it would wake someone up.)

properly in the starting up dont be to disenchanted with him,its a realized habit.What i could do is positioned an more effective roll of loo paper interior the rest room and tell him to wipe up each and every time he takes a wiz. Or make him sit at the same time as he pees.That uasualy receives to boys of that age after a at the same time as. and as a very last hotel tell him to take it exterior.
