Spywareblaster works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. It won't uninstall spyware that is already on your pc, but it will prevent hijacks and other malicious changes to your browser.

Getting rid of all your viruses/spyware.
Every web browser has a perfectly adequate pop up blocker. If the pop up blocker is on and you get more than 2 pop ups per day you have viruses /spyware on your computer.
It is moronic to concentrate on adding pop up blockers to mask the effects of the malware that is installed on your computer while doing nothing about the malware.

I would suggest using firefox instead of internet explorer, although IE does come with its own pop-up blocker now. Google toolbar works too. its a matter of personal preference there isnt much difference between them.
My personal Suggestion.......... Try firefox, you will find the benefits after a short while.

Run the firefox web browser. It automatically blocks pop ups. As its not integrated as a systems file manager (like Internet Explorer is) its also more secure.
