If spell check were unavailable I would tend to agree with you. With spell check available, however it is ridiculous to send out a question or answer with words that you have to guess what they are trying to say. If it is worth the time to write it down, it should be worth the time to make sure it is correct and readable.

Sometimes but maybe it is the approach of the questioner that drives us insane. For example, when people are asking about touchy subjects such as pregnancy or health, they should have some intelligence to be participating in that lifestyle, yes? Being sexually active and possibly reproductive, they should be responsible enough to think before they do things. It's a sign of maturity. When they are on here saying uneducated things, it upsets people due to the topics they want to discuss. When I read a question that makes absolutely no sense and is sloppy, I figure, why bother with an educated response? This person probably can't even understand it.
I should try to be more tolerant, but it is awfully difficult.

Generally I'm a tolerable person, but if someone out there is asking for help/advice etc, then they should have the common courtesy to ask properly and with correct spellings. As for the complete plonkers who use mis-spelled words to fly under the 'banned words' radar should be castrated, or worse.

I apologise, I rant.

Sometimes the complete meaning of the question is unclear where spellings are incorrect. Correct spellings would avoid this confusion. It is also nice to see spelling and grammar considered in sentences - shows that some care has been taken.

Why not make an effort with spelling and be proud of your language? After all you only need to press a button if you haven't the intelligence to be able to spell. I fail to see the appeal of ignorance.

I agree!
Haha, but sometimes it just become irritating reading questions in 2 minutes that would normally take 10 seconds to read.
For example:
Li3k 0mg diis qu3stii0n r0xx.

If you're too lazy to spell properly (with or without spellcheck) why should I take your answers seriously ? The odd typo is ok - incorrect spelling and grammar (eg your instead of you're) is not.

I think you are saying that nobody needs to go to school at all, & the millions of students are wasting their time & their parents' money learning the basics civilization is based on. Have I interpret your "question" right?

I think it would be uncivilized. Good grief! Are people so lazy now that they cannot even attempt to help their reader by providing correct spelling?! Go back to school!
