Well, I do not live in the UK, but at least I am Eastern European :).
I have visited the UK several times, and all my interactions with Brits were very positive - apart from a lady who rudely refused to sell me a bottle of beer for no obvious reason at 11:00 a.m. (Which confused me a lot). This was 5 years ago.
Things might have changed now. What I do suspect is that Brits treat Eastern Europeans in one way, when the latter are in the UK, and are much friendlier when the Brits themselves are in Eastern Europe.

I think they must love us when so many of them are flocking here, or is it that they have heard about what a soft touch we are?
