Considering the current situation it could happen. Tensions are escalating already over the British sailors. Lets hope it can be avoided, but if not it will be interesting to see whether the Americans support our troops as much as ours have supported them in Iraq.

Military confrontation may be on the horizon.
In addition to the British frigate HMS Cornwall, there is a multi-national strike force in the Persian Gulf. Furthermore, there are British naval vessels stationed at the Diego Garcia atoll in the Indian ocean. The British Royal Navy may take action with its Special Boat Service (SBS) , the British Royal Navy's special forces unit. The service's motto is "By Strength and Guile". It forms part of the United Kingdom Special Forces, alongside the Special Air Service (SAS), Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR), and Special Forces Support Group (SFSG).

Ready to assist are the American aircraft carrier strike group Bremerton-based aircraft carrier CVN-73 USS John C. Stennis, the American aircraft carrier strike group CVN-69 USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and the French nuclear carrier Charles de Gaulle and its task force are all in close appoximation in the Persian Gulf. A 3rd carrier group, the CVN-68 USS Nimitz, may also be in the Persian Gulf soon as it was scheduled for its WESTPAC07 deployment to replace the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower which was deployed December 2006.

We are bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan, so sure lets blow something else up, i mean what else have we got to do. There must be some one in the middle east we haven't alienated yet. Oops, I mean killed yet.
The farther we go with this, the sooner we bring on Armageddon.
If your a Christian you should be happy, a couple of nukes, and we'll all get to see the face of G'd.
Good job W., you're gonna destroy the earth, I'm sure that's what Jesus would do.

i think you need to go back to the pelosi playbook and find something actually believable to villify bush and/or the republicans about. the implication here with the diatribe is obvious. the attack on iraq WAS with intent. jihad with al qaeda IS real and once again the pelosi ites and left wing extremists have missed the point entirely.

I don't believe there will ever be an invasion of Iran.
Possibly a few well placed Cruise Missiles.
Worked wonders with Gaddafi's.......
