Not with my first - I never really liked it until I got pregnant with my 2nd...,

Now I'm 34 weeks and I drink about 2 litres of Diet Pepsi a day!! I actually talked to my doc about this, and he said that at least it's good that I'm getting plenty of liquid!! He said no worries (careful though, if you have high sugar leveles, mine are very low, so no probs there!)

:-) Mmmm... Off for a Pepsi now!

LOL isnt it so funny how us mom to be's can worry? I drink diet coke, and im 32 weeks pregnant and okay so far! :-) Is there something in the coke your worried about being bad for the baby? If so, you can always ask your doctor or call and ask the nurse. Good luck to you!

I went through a phase at about 18 or 20 weeks where I craved regular Coca Cola ALL THE TIME! I had about 4 liters in a week, and became worried afterwards. At my next appt. I told my doctor about my crazy caffeinated week and he said it was fine in moderation and that as long as I took my vitamins, I should be ok. Pretty much everything is ok in moderation. Be safe and also try to eat healthier meals with your soda. Good luck!

I didn't when i was preg. I am afraid of two things in diet sodas... the artificial sweeteners ( they say it causes memory problems later) and when you are preg. the caffeine is really bad for the babe. It passes to them just as any other drug. in fact, they have released studies that show that drinking more than one cup of a caffeinated beverage a day while preg. greatly increases the chances for a miscarriage....... be careful with the stuff!

I did throughout both my pregnancies, there was no problems with either of my children or thir births. If you are worried drink caffine free diet coke :-)

I didnt drink diet drink as they make me ill but i did drink soft drink. From what my partner was told by the midwives, having too much produces alot of white 'gunk' on the babys body, very similar to babies born to cocaine addicts.

If you really have to have one, limit yourself to one and make it a caffeine free one.. I had a few cravings for them and I avoided the caffine an everything turned out fine
