Well since you have to use future tense verbs, you could do a story about what a child wants to be when he grows up. That's rather simple. It's a great way to use vocabulary - teacher, lawyer, doctor, etc.

Or what the boy would do during a normal day.
i.e.: go to school, wake up, read, walk around the park.

maybe about a boy being cooped up in home country and wanting to see the world or maybe a animal being scared of something ridiculous and overcoming it

Write one about a little boy who goes for the first time, with his grampa, to a bull fight.
