It depends who you "wish" upon (I would like to use the word prayer). If it is jesus, then no. It is Krishna, then no. If it is the one who created you (and no, the aformentioned people did not create you), then yes (coz he had the power to create you so he has the power to change your way of life). As a muslim, I can tell you that muslims are the only ones who worship the creator alone (care to enlighten me about another faith) and thus I think the best chance you have is to do it their way. Try it one night. Devote one night to just trying it with all sincerity. Read the quran also to get a stronger idea. Peace.
