Starflower/borage oil put next to the cervix should soften it up. My sister did this and had a show within a few hours! Things like caster oil, curry etc are supposed to help by making the gut contract which then triggers the womb to contract. That kind of thing will only work if the cervix is ripe. Another thing which is meant to be good is sex! Sperm contains prostaglandin to soften the cervix and orgasm can start contractions! Also a weird one! Stimulating your nipples! Sounds strange but it causes the release of oxytocin which also can cause contractions! Good luck!

Honey your over due..and the fact you have hardly any fluid your putting your baby at risk. Go and be a trooper and bring that baby into the world. I was induced, and they couldn't find the dr for the pain killers or spinal so I had to do 24 hours of non productive labour and then a section. Be a trooper!

Awwww Im sorry to hear your having such an aweful time. I know how anxious you must be to have your baby, and nothings going right! Well, here is a website you can go to, that lists different ways to try to induce labor yourself. Good luck, and keep in touch if youd like and let me know how it goes! Congratulations on the little one!

Ironically, but true, the only course for this is sex. Perhaps, though, you might need some "toys" to assist you. Otherwise, it's either the induced labor, or the Caesarian Section. Good Luck.

Pray!! I don't have any advise that I have tried successfully so sorry, other than praying I don't know, I have heard gentle sex or sexual stimulation releases some hormone that could trigger labour, you can try that. Good luck!!

Some people suggest a shower or a run/brisk walk.
Others say the first thing is to relax, don't stress about having it, relax and let it come

Apparently 'internal exams' can help bring it on..well thats what my doctor told me when they were going to induce me.
