A few homoeopathic remedies come to mind that will help this acute period - please consider trying them. Lots of people slag off homoeopathy - but it really does work if the remedy is correct.
Arnica is a good one to start with to address the injury that caused the fractures. Take 3 doses of 30c today & tomorrow.
Then take symphytum - heals fractures quickly.
If the pain is related to movement & breathing, take bryonia 30c every 4 hours and you will soon feel better & not need the analgesics prescribed by your quack.

Ribs fracture is a difficult one to heal and the only thing you can do to ease the pain and quick recovery is taking rest and not moving much which would cause your ribs to pressure.
